Today I’ve updated the main site with some new images, take a look on the portrait photography page, the commercial photography page and the concert photography page.
I have also updated my Flickr - I’ve put some of my recent personal photo’s, from bluebells in the woods
to the British Mini Day at Himley Hall.
On Thursday I shot at the British Open Show Jumping Championship, which was something a bit different from my usual subjects. Here a few of my shots from the event:
Metallica stopped off at the LG Arena on Wednesday as part of their Death Magnetic tour and I had a photo pass – great! The gig was awesome – the usual first three songs rule applied, but that was a whole 18 minutes worth! There was such an amazing atmosphere in the arena, as you can see in my photos below:

Yesterday I photographed the caravan, boat and outdoor show at The NEC. It’s quite a sight to see lots of boats out of water and hundreds of tents in the halls. Take a look at some of my photos from the show:

With this gig I wanted to utilise the ultrawide 14-24mm Nikkor lens, to give an unusual perspective to this set of gig photos – see photos 1, 4, 8 and 10. I’m really pleased with the way these have come out, along with the more conventional photos.
